Editorial policy

How pages are written and checked

Each calculator page is written by [author name] and checked by [reviewer name] before it goes live. The calculation code is tested against worked examples, including the examples printed on each page, every time the site is built. Rates and tables cite the source they come from.

Use of AI tools

[Describe honestly how AI tools are used, for example: “We use AI tools to help draft code and copy. A person checks every figure, example and claim before publishing.”]

Independence

We don’t take money from bookmakers, tipsters or betting affiliates to feature them, and the calculators don’t link to betting sites. Advertising, if added, is kept visually separate from the calculators and never placed between the inputs and the result.

Responsible gambling

Every page carries an 18+ notice and the free National Gambling Helpline number. We don’t write content aimed at under-18s, and we don’t describe gambling as a way to make money.

Corrections

If you spot a mistake, tell us. We fix confirmed errors promptly and list them below with the date.
